This blog is for my story.

Storytelling is an art. I am not very good at telling stories in-person, but I love to write because I love using words.
Although you may not enjoy it, I am writing this blog, and thus telling my story, so that I can try and make sense of the world,
one little word at a time.

Inspiration

I find inspiration in many different places: in nature, in people I interact with, in learning...inspiration can come in a variety of forms, and for each individual it is different. I was inspired for the title of this blog, Triumph and Disaster, by a poem by Rudyard Kipling. This poem, If, is great to read if you ever feel uninspired, because it talks about so many roadblocks we have to deal with in life.

If
by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
